We worked with events company Waveform Entertainment, supporting them with lighting, audio and video as the Toronto Defiant faced off against the Houston Outlaw in an Overwatch League tournament.
Esports events are wild. Pulsing lasers, blistering graphic packages and booming audio. But the action of the match is really what's important. Our planning for this event focused on how to use our tools to generate excitement in the crowd when it was needed and when to pull back so as not to upstage the action in the game.

Esports is a big deal globally, and the Overwatch League is North America's most prominent professional league, so standard for the first high profile tournament for this emerging sport to occur in Canada was high. We helped Waveform execute a world-class 4 day event that sets the bar for all events to come.
