We worked with Red Stone Agency to produce this two day advocacy summit in support of diversity, equality and basic human rights for the 2SLGBTQI community in Canada. The event spanned two days and included an appearance by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
All events attended by a Canadian Prime Minister have tight security and Justin Trudeau's appearance at the Egale Identity Conference—to accept an award for contributions advancing the 2SLGBTQI community—was no exception. The PM's RCMP detail conducted numerous security sweeps during the conference and it was not uncommon for us to need to step aside momentarily to allow a sniffer dog and its handler through the venue.
Our team designed and delivered a plan that created an atmosphere of openness and inclusion across the main room and four breakout rooms, where attendees could focus on the serious subjects discussed by the speakers and celebrate the progress the community has made in Canada.
